What A Life!!!

Before now, I thought life would be fair as you grow older, but then I realized the older you get, the more unfair life becomes. Life will never be fair; it is analog and can never be. You can only make it fair.

Hold on to this: what have you ever wanted that comes freely without you fighting for it? Money — you have to work for it; recognition from people — you have to earn it, perhaps by doing things you’d rather not, like cleaning butts.

So, are you still asking why people around you are unfair to you? It’s not their fault; life wasn’t fair to them either. Life will never and ever be unfair. This is not an understatement but a real fact because if we all keep complaining that life is not fair, I want to tell you it won’t change anything.

My word for this year is gratitude. I will appreciate the little I have, focus on what is yet to come, take my mind off what I can’t touch, and keep in touch with prayers for all I want and need, provided by the Lord.

Most times I am awake, I have a lot on my mind. Not sure where to start writing from, all I do is write and keep on writing till I write more and more.

It will be weird if I am the only one who sees life in the form of a loop, basically, an infinite loop. It keeps on looping through and looping till infinity, and no one knows the beginning or the ending.

Today, as I was stepping out, it dropped into my mind: some people were up a second ago, and some are gone in this very second and minute. I have to reason also, that is true we don’t know what time it is. This led me to ask my best friend person, Mr. Google, “How many people die in a minute in the world per day?” and I got “Approximately 105 people die every minute.”

And you know what? You and I are not in that pack. So, why won’t my word for the year be gratitude in a world that means nothing yet something?

I know this write-up is going up and down, but I want to say today: in the year 2024, let us all live in happiness and gratitude, for God has been so good to us and our family.

No one else but your, able and home girl: Wind_y_ter.

Please choose happiness, unhappiness isn’t worth it, make mistakes and learn from them, don’t let people rob you of your happiness, because no matter what you do, you can’t meet everyone’s expectations.

I love you all and I will always support you with prayers and with words of encouragement. Thanks for the past years, I do appreciate it.
