What is the main thing you need to change if not mindset? Today, I will guide you through the steps to transform your mindset, a crucial factor in reshaping your life.

Initially, I believed I had it all figured out, a master of my craft. However, it turned out to be a facade, a means to escape reality. Acknowledging that I was good at what I did was essential, but the desire to evolve and surpass my past self became my driving force.

Every day, I discover new worth within myself. I envision the possibilities, initiate change, and the catalyst for this transformation. My mindset. As the Bible wisely states, “As a man thinks, so he is.”

Previously, I placed significant emphasis on friendships, and enduring relationships for the sake of loyalty. While not inherently wrong, I realized that not everyone perceived me as a true friend. Some saw me as a means to their ends. Consequently, my mindset shifted, prioritizing myself in 2024 — a blend of selfishness and selflessness.

This new year, I acknowledge my worth and aspire to become the best version of myself. Gone are the days of passive acceptance; now, I pull strings to shape my destiny. Recognizing that nothing good comes easy, I fight for my desires, relying not solely on my strength but also on the assistance of my creator.

To enact change, you must alter how you perceive yourself. This revelation dawned upon me as I delved into “The Diary of the CEO.” While I haven’t completed the book, it has begun reshaping my identity and future. I’ll share more insights when the time is right.

Now, let’s discuss how we can change our mindset.

The primary agents of change are you and I. So, how do we embark on this transformative journey?

  1. Self-reflection is Key:

Start by evaluating your thoughts and beliefs. Identify patterns that may be holding you back. Ask yourself if these patterns align with the person you aspire to become. Every morning I have a particular question I ask myself, Joke who are you? And my reply is I am a queen, I am bigger than any of my expectations, I am the daughter of the most high God, I am born to rule and reign. The best in me is to come.

2. Challenge Negative Thoughts:

Confront and challenge negative thoughts. Replace self-doubt with positive affirmations. Affirm your abilities and focus on your strengths. Negative thought is part of us as human beings and we have control over it. You either accept or decline what you want your life to be. The Bible says the power of life and death lies in our tongues. It simply means we have the power to control what we want to see in our lives, and please choose life.

3. Embrace Growth:

Acknowledge that growth often comes from discomfort. Embrace challenges as opportunities for personal development. Understand that change is a natural part of life.

4. Set Clear Goals:

Define specific and achievable goals. Break them down into smaller tasks. This not only provides clarity but also a sense of accomplishment as you progress.

5. Surround Yourself with Positivity:

Be mindful of your environment and the people around you. Surround yourself with positive influences that encourage your personal and professional growth. This year, I told myself I would go all out, change my friend base, connect more, embrace opportunities, and do away with anyone who tries to pull me down, if I notice just a bit of disrespect from you, you are going to lala land. Not pride but I am setting priority to my mental health.

6. Learn Continuously:

Cultivate a mindset of continuous learning. Seek knowledge from various sources, be it books, podcasts, or mentors. Stay curious and open-minded. This must be mentioned, we need to keep learning. God help us all. And on the learning, I am cooking some things for us, will let you all know once done cooking.

7. Take Ownership of Your Choices:

Accept responsibility for your good and bad decisions. Learn from mistakes instead of dwelling on them. Taking ownership empowers you to make better choices in the future. No shifting blame, we own our choices and I say what I say if you are not cool with that I can not do anything about it, I say my mind is left for you to accept the truth.

8. Practice Gratitude:

Develop a habit of gratitude. Reflect on the positive aspects of your life. This practice can shift your focus from what you lack to what you have, fostering a positive mindset. Gratitude is my watchword for the year 2024 and I will also be grateful because what am I without grace?

9. Visualize Success:

Envision your goals and success. Visualization can reinforce a positive mindset by creating a mental image of your achievements. It helps manifest your aspirations into reality.

10. Surpass Comfort Zones:

Challenge yourself to step outside your comfort zone regularly. Growth occurs when you push boundaries and explore new territories. Embrace discomfort as a sign of progress.

I understand that actions speak louder than words, but it’s worth trying to make things work. This past week, I haven’t been at my best, but I’m fortunate to have a friend who encourages me, even when I lack the strength to face challenges. He supports and uplifts me in his way. Though it may seem like I don’t express my gratitude at times, having someone there for me is the greatest gift. A person I can lean on, and yes, I do cry because, like everyone, I’m human. Shedding tears doesn’t equate to weakness but signifies resilience.

In essence, what I’m conveying is that our strength lies in cultivating the right mindset. Let’s be kind to ourselves and others, recognizing our importance. No one, absolutely no one, has the authority to drag us down. Let’s keep striving for greater heights.

Sending lots of love your way, and wishing you all a joyful new month! 😄😘
